Drives cover 30 to 50 miles across 60,000 acres of grassland, with riders handling actual ranch work rather than a staged tour. Overnights happen in cowboy tipi tents with dutch-oven cooking. Spring, summer, and fall trips run out of Ranchester, near the Montana line.

Buffalo

Bookworm Farms is a 2.5-acre farm on Virginia Lane in Buffalo, below the Bighorn Mountains, selling chicken, turkey, duck, and goat meat, unpasteurized goat milk, and farm eggs. The owner also hosts campers through Hipcamp alongside the goats, horses, and donkeys on the property. It's a small homestead-style operation built around humane, clean food rather than volume.
