Farmers Markets near Missoula, MT

Neighborhood market at the Orchard Homes Country Life Club on South 3rd Street West in Missoula, Thursdays 4:30 to 7 p.m. from June through September. Started in 2008, it stays deliberately small and hyper-local: nearly every vendor farms within a mile of the market, so the produce is about as close-grown as it gets. Saturday market in downtown Stevensville, set at the four-way stop where Main meets 3rd West, next to Valley Drug and Variety, running 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from early May through early October. Now past its 20th year, it brings together Bitterroot Valley growers and makers with farm eggs, local honey, produce, homemade jams, and handcrafted goods, plus food trucks and young vendors. The market takes WIC and Senior coupons and is entirely vendor-run.
