At Lil' Ponderosa Beef in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, "Uncle" Bob and "Miss" Kate Boyce raise real Angus beef the natural way — Bob has raised cattle for over 35 years with no chemicals and no grain, letting the herd roam free and finish on grass. The farm store in the original horse barn on Ponderosa Road sells freezer beef that regulars drive from Philadelphia for: grassed up and Angus to go.
