About Ashcombe Farm Greenhouses
Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouses is a garden center in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, that grew from a 1962 roadside vegetable stand run by Glenn and Mary Ellen Gross. Its greenhouses grow about 500,000 plants a year, including vegetables, herbs and annuals, and the store also sells trees, shrubs and perennials alongside a bakery, gourmet foods, a gift shop and a country cafe. The store is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and sells pumpkins and holds Fall Harvest Days in late October.
