Allen and Susie Grant opened Yule Forest as a Christmas tree farm in 1983 and kept adding to it: a pumpkin patch, the Fear the Woods haunted attraction, a spring Tulip Festival, hayrides, a small animal farm, and a science center for school groups. The Stockbridge property, on Highway 155, still cuts its own trees each winter.
