Max and Anne Robinson planted the first blueberries here in 1993, and White Oak Berry Farm now runs as a summer you-pick on Brownstown Road in Renick. Bushes grow in mulched beds with mowed aisles that make picking easy. The season opens in late June, drawing pickers up US 219 from Lewisburg into Greenbrier County.
