About WestPark Alpacas
WestPark Alpacas is a 22-acre alpaca farm in Worth Township near Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, run by Patrick and Christine Scheer since the mid-2000s. The herd of Huacaya alpacas is sheared each spring, and the fleece goes to a mini-mill and comes back as batting. Christine makes felted scarves and handbags from the fiber, sold in the farm shop alongside hats, gloves and goods imported from South America. School and senior center groups visit the farm.
