Wells Hollow is a fifth-generation family farm in Shelton that opened its ice cream creamery in 2007, run by Daniel and Jamie Wells. The shop turns over more than 50 homemade flavors alongside smoothies, soft serve, Italian ice, and ice cream cakes, with dairy sourced from farms across Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, and Michigan. A 3,000-square-foot open-air patio hosts birthday parties and farm-animal visits alongside the ice cream counter.
