About This Farm
W A Bean & Sons has butchered meat in Bangor since 1860, when Albert Bean set up shop after arriving from East Corinth. Five generations later, the company still runs out of Bomarc Road, producing sausages and, by its own count, millions of hot dogs a year for delis, restaurants, and home cooks across the region. It's one of the oldest continuously operating meat businesses in the state.
