Running since 1979, Urbana's Market at the Square is producer-only — everything sold is grown or made by the vendor standing behind the table. More than 150 vendors set up at Illinois and Vine Streets on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon, selling Illinois-grown produce, meat, cheese, honey, wine, and baked goods alongside pottery and jewelry. It has won the News-Gazette's People's Choice Award for community events.
