About Ujamaa Co-op Farmers Market
Ujamaa Co-op runs a rotating farmers market through Chicago's South Side, with a stop at 4857 S. Evans Avenue alongside stands at senior buildings and other neighborhood locations. Shoppers find fresh produce, baked goods, and flowers from local vendors, and the market matches SNAP/Link purchases up to $25. Days and stop locations shift through the spring-to-fall season, so checking their Facebook page before heading out is worth it.
