About The Big Red Barn, Murray Family Farms
Murray Family Farms at Di Giorgio, east of Bakersfield, pairs its Big Red Barn farm market with seasonal u-pick, the famous Bakersfield Pumpkin Patch, and weekend farm fun. The family grows ripe-picked specialty fruit — from candy grapes and cherries to elderberries and Buddha's hand citron — sold at the farm, at farmers markets across California, and alongside comfort food from the Cal-Okie Orchard Kitchen, home of the Okie Pie.
