Sweet Acre Farms was Hall County's first farm winery, a 46-acre operation pouring fruit wines made from blueberry, peach, and blackberry grown on the property. A fire damaged the Alto tasting room in January 2025, and the winery has been pouring instead from its Helen, Georgia location, open Thursday through Sunday with reduced hours. Call ahead before visiting the original Bill Wilson Road address, since much of that site remains closed.
