About This Farm

Sprout — locally known as Sprout BC — is a nonprofit food hub on Military Street in Springfield running a subscription grocery box built around Michigan-grown and Michigan-made food, delivered to homes and workplaces across four southwest Michigan counties. The organization has also been developing a community-owned retail cooperative in downtown Battle Creek with a café serving ready-to-eat meals. It's less a farmers market than a food-access delivery service, though the mission — get local food to more tables — is the same.
