Soul Food Farm is a family-run operation on Pleasants Valley Road in Vacaville, growing lavender, cut flowers, and specialty vegetables and pressing olive oil, alongside a small sheep flock raised for yarn. Alexis and Eric bought the land more than two decades ago and shifted from pastured chickens toward this more diversified, regenerative mix starting in 2012. The farm stand runs Thursday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March through November.
