Solsma's has run a pumpkin patch and corn maze on Highway 18, four miles east of Sanborn, since 1999 - and sells fireworks on the side, legal in Iowa from June 1 to July 8 and again in December. The patch stays open through Labor Day, about 35 miles from Lake Okoboji. It's a rare combination: one stand handles both your Fourth of July fireworks and your October pumpkins.
