About Smith Berry Barn
Smith Berry Barn sits on Scholls Ferry Road southwest of Hillsboro and sells u-pick and ready-picked berries alongside a garden shop and gift store. Summer brings blueberries; the orchard runs to McIntosh and Honeycrisp apples later on. They pour tastings of their own hard ciders and stock flowers, produce and local gifts. Open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 to 5, closed Mondays; u-pick stops taking newcomers at 4.
