SLO Food Co-op has run as San Luis Obispo's community-owned grocery store since 1979, stocking local produce and sustainable, fair-trade goods at 2494 Victoria Avenue. It's open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and returns a share of proceeds to local nonprofits, working as both a grocery store and a standing outlet for the county's small farms.
