About Slagel Farms
Slagel Farms has raised livestock in central Illinois since 1888, now in its fifth generation, and the focus is meat rather than produce: beef, veal, pork, lamb, chicken, rabbit, and goat, all hormone-free and cut to order. Buyers can order a quarter, half, or whole cow, with the farm growing its own feed on-site rather than buying in. It supplies restaurants as well as direct-to-consumer orders.
