About Slagel Family Meats
Slagel Meats is the USDA-inspected processing plant of Slagel Family Farm in Forrest, Illinois, run by a fifth-generation livestock family whose farm in nearby Fairbury dates to 1888. The plant has a retail case where certain cuts are available for pickup, and the farm takes custom orders for whole and split beef, pork, goat and veal and whole lamb.
