Sheridan's farmers market takes over Grinnell Plaza in the historic downtown on Thursday evenings, 5 to 7, roughly June through September. Local growers and artisans sell produce, baked goods, flowers, and arts and crafts. On the third Thursday of each month the market expands into a street festival down Grinnell to Broadway, with live music, food vendors, and kids' activities. The Downtown Sheridan Association runs it.
