Fenton's Orchard traces back to 1852 and has stayed in the Fenton family for most of that time, aside from a 30-year fallow stretch before Francis W. Fenton revived it in 1972 after retiring from the Navy. More than 40 apple varieties grow here, pick-your-own or pre-bagged, with the farm open 9 to 5, seven days a week.
