Rogers Orchards has grown apples in Southington since 1809, making it one of Connecticut's oldest working orchards. The Sunnymount Farm location bakes cider donuts, pies, and apple dumplings daily and presses its own hard cider under the Long View Ciderhouse label. Pick-your-own apple season runs Labor Day weekend through late October, Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
