Rancho de los Proyectos — "Ranch of Projects" — is Erik, Becky, Darwin, and Gabriela's small organic family farm in the Inland Empire of northern Riverside County, California, where a homeschooling family of scientists, artists, and educators always has a new homesteading project going. Weekly farm share bags of organic produce, around 40 laying hens, sheep for wool and meat, a guard alpaca, and homegrown cotton and dye plants for fiber arts round out the carbon-neutral operation, with Saturday markets at Running Springs and Redlands' Grove School.
