About Pumpkins on the Prairie
Pumpkins on the Prairie is a pumpkin patch run by Grace Avenue United Methodist Church in Frisco, Texas, open each October. Entry is free, and pumpkins and gourds sell for $1 to $40. The patch has bounce houses, a hayride, a hay labyrinth, face painting, a scavenger hunt and a pumpkin trebuchet. The pumpkins are grown on the Navajo Nation near Farmington, New Mexico, and proceeds go to the church's missions and ministries.
