Pumpkin Paradise grew out of Steve Weidner's pumpkin-growing hobby into a 12-acre pick-your-own patch in 2002. Growers there raise more than 200 varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and squash from around the world, plus a 4-acre corn maze, duck races, and a working trebuchet demonstration. The patch runs weekends only, from late September through Halloween, cash or check.
