About Potawot Community Food
Potawot Community Food Garden grows carrots, broccoli, pumpkins, greens, corn, strawberries and tomatoes on two to three acres in Arcata, run by United Indian Health Services on unceded Wiyot land next to its clinic. A farmers market runs noon to 2 p.m. in season and takes cash, EBT and WIC, and the garden hosts an annual seed and plant-start giveaway. Call 707-825-5000.
