About Poor Farm Sugar Works
Poor Farm Sugar Works makes maple syrup on Poor Farm Road in Colchester, near Lake Champlain in the northwest corner of the state. Syrup grades, retail, and any sugarhouse visits aren't confirmed here. Colchester's low Champlain Valley elevation tends to start the sap running a little earlier than up in the mountains.
