Pine Hill Orchards farms more than 80 acres in the hills above Colrain, growing apples, peaches, plums, and blueberries alongside fall pumpkins. The farm store stays open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., pressing its own cider and baking pies and bread on site. A deli counter slices Boar's Head meats and cheeses to order for grinders and sandwiches. It's a working farm first — the food service grew up around what they already grow.
