Pickens County Farmers Market sets up under the pavilion at the Carrollton walking track, in front of the county DHR building, every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., May through early December. Growers bring vegetables, fruit, eggs, honey, pickles, and baked goods, with beef and pork some weeks. The market exists to get fresh food to Pickens County residents who don't have easy access otherwise.
