What started as a roadside fruit stand became Michael David Winery in 1984, when fifth-generation growers Michael and David Phillips began bottling grapes from the family's Lodi land. The winery farms roughly 650 acres and now runs a tasting room and an on-site café serving breakfast, lunch, and wood-fired pizza on weekends. Wine labels include Freakshow, Earthquake, and Seven Deadly Zins.
