Old Wye Mill has ground grain by water power since 1682, making it the oldest continuously operating grist mill in the United States. It sits in Wye Mills, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore, not Delaware, and runs seasonally as both a working mill and a museum of the region's agricultural history. The mill supplied grain during the American Revolution and still turns its original stones today.
