The Northwest Side Farmers Market Collective merges three neighborhood markets, Independence Park, Portage Park, and Jefferson Park, into one weekly stop in the north lot of the Irish American Heritage Center near Six Corners. Vendors sell seasonal produce, vegetables, baked goods, and flowers through spring and fall. Combining three smaller markets into one gave Northwest Side shoppers a single, bigger market instead of three thin ones.
