North Chester Orchard is a six-acre pick-your-own operation on the Chester side of the green steel bridge over the Penobscot River, about 2.5 miles out. Apples, pumpkins, and Christmas trees come in season, roughly mid-September through mid-October or while the crop lasts. Open Sunday through Friday, noon to 5, with longer Saturday hours.
