Meier Horse Shoe Pines is a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm on County Road 330 near Jackson, north of Cape Girardeau, running since 1988. Visitors cut their own tree or pick a pre-cut one, then warm up in a retail shop stocked with wreaths, roping, grave blankets, ornaments, and local baked goods. Belgian draft horses pull wagon rides out to the tree fields. The farm opens seasonally around Thanksgiving.
