Meats of Montana is the retail shop at 209 E 1st Avenue in Big Timber for Pioneer Meats, a local packing plant. The counter carries locally raised meat and house-made specialties like cured bratwursts, bacon, and snack sticks, sourcing grain-finished beef from Todd Family Meats and grass-finished from Cowgirl Meats. Owners Brian and Katy Engle started in a semi-trailer before building the plant. Open Monday through Saturday.
