Tom and Gina Brown planted about 4,000 peach and apple trees starting in 2010 on what's now Meadowlark Farm, five miles east of Rose Hill. Peach season runs June through August and apples July into October, alongside a strawberry patch, a cidery, and pasture-raised grass-fed beef. The farm store is open Monday through Saturday, and the Browns also sell Saturday mornings at Wichita's Old Town Farm & Art Market.
