About This Farm
McEwen & Sons stone-grinds cornmeal, grits, and polenta from organic corn in Wilsonville, using a stone burr grist mill the founders bought in 2002 to keep the nutrient-rich germ and bran that quick grits lose. Blue, white, and yellow varieties are sold at their Wilsonville store and Birmingham specialty shops, and served at Highlands Bar & Grill, a James Beard Award winner.
