McCaskey Farms has grown pick-your-own vegetables since 1997 about five miles outside Ahoskie in Hertford County, between the St. John and Union communities off Highway 461. The rows include beans, broccoli, cabbage, corn, peppers, squash, tomatoes, collards, and cucumbers, plus strawberries in spring. The farm accepts SNAP/EBT and offers both pickup and delivery.
