McCain's Family Farm took over a Cedar Hill Blueberry Farm plot south of Ringgold in 2017 and kept it pesticide-free. Five acres of blueberries open for u-pick from late May to early July, seven days a week, with an honor-system cash box running the operation Monday through Friday. The farm also sells pre-picked berries by the gallon and raw honey from its own hives. It's certified through Homegrown by Heroes, the veteran-owned farming program.
