May's Honey Farms has produced Sunny Hill Honey since 1948, growing from two beehives to more than 1,400 across six counties of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, with a processing plant in a converted 1898 schoolhouse outside Marengo. Harvested within 50 miles of the plant from local clovers, alfalfa, and linden blossoms, the honey is never overheated or ultra-filtered and is sold at independent grocers all over Chicagoland.
