Tom and Shelly Schierman started Louisburg Cider Mill in 1977 as a roadside cider stand in a restored hay barn; the Country Store went up the next year and it's been growing since. Today it presses fresh apple cider, fries cider donuts, and runs a tasting room for hard ciders and wines alongside Lost Trail root beer and sarsaparilla. Fall brings a 10-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, and wagon rides, mid-September through October.
