Founded in 1976, the Lawrence Farmers' Market is the oldest producer-only market in Kansas — everything sold was grown, raised, or made by the vendor standing behind it. It runs Saturdays, 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., from April 11 through November 21 at 824 New Hampshire Street, with more than 60 area farmers and producers, all within 50 miles of Lawrence. Two-hour free parking is available in garages at 7th and 9th Streets.
