Kentucky Down Under pairs an Australia-themed animal park with Mammoth Onyx Cave, first explored in 1799. Bill and Judy Austin opened the zoo in 1990; visitors now hand-feed kangaroos, walk through an aviary of rainbow lorikeets, and watch herding-dog demonstrations before heading underground for a 30-minute cave tour. Open daily, 9am–5pm.
