Downtown Kankakee shuts down South Schuyler Avenue every Saturday, May through October, for this market at the corner of Schuyler and Merchant. Doors open 8 a.m. and run to noon, rain or shine. Vendors bring farm-grown produce, meat, cheese, fresh flowers, and baked goods, plus specialty foods, crafts, and food trucks, with live music through the morning.
