Social Justice Learning Institute and the City of Inglewood launched this market on September 17, 2015, to bring fresh produce to a part of South Los Angeles with limited grocery access. It runs the first and third Thursday of each month, 3 to 7pm, at Market Street and Manchester Boulevard. More than 35 vendor booths sell fresh produce, prepared foods, pre-packaged goods, and artisan breads, with several growers offering produce grown without chemicals.
