About This Farm
Ifarm grows organic herbs and flowers across a permaculture garden of more than 200 plant species on a restored 18th-century farm in Boxford. John Towne, a colonial soldier who fought at Bunker Hill, first bought the land in 1777; the current owner took it over in 2009, and it entered the National Register of Historic Places in 2012. Timber-frame buildings on the property now host private events alongside the farming.
