Harvey County Farmers Market has met in the Old Mill parking lot west of the Breadbasket in Newton, Kansas since 1983. The season runs May through October: Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon and Tuesdays 3 to 5:30 p.m. Vendors sell vegetables, baked goods, honey, herbs, and farm-raised beef, pork, chicken, turkey, and eggs. SNAP and EBT shoppers get up to $25 matched through Double Up Food Bucks, and some vendors take Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers.
