About Handeys Farm and Nursery
Handey's Farm & Nursery grows what it sells on-site in east Montgomery — broccoli, okra, and collards alongside a nursery stocked with bedding plants. Spring brings a u-pick strawberry patch; summer produce starts arriving in late May; fall garden vegetables run from October on. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 to 5, with homemade boiled peanuts sold at the stand. Handey's is a member of Sweet Grown Alabama, the state's local-food certification program.
