Georgia's wine trail starts here — one of the state's oldest and largest wineries, pouring award-winning bottles since 1983 from a tasting room just south of Alpine Helen. The lineup spans three labels: vinifera-driven Habersham and Creekstone, aged in American, French, and Hungarian oak, and Southern Harvest, built on native Muscadine grapes. Fruit comes from the original Stonepile Vineyard near Clarkesville and a newer high-elevation site planted in 2017. Tastings run daily.
